My intention with this blog is to document findings and solutions as I learn to develop on the Windows Azure platform. My hope is that the blog posts can help other developers in similar situations and also that the posts will engage discussions about the various topics. On a more personal note, the blog will also help me to reflect and remember how and why I’ve done things in a particular way.

My first project that I will host on Windows Azure is a Facebook application called Am I Interesting, which can be found at http://apps.facebook.com/amiinteresting. I will write more about the application, and why I think it is a perfect fit for cloud computing and Windows Azure, in my first blog post. Many of the subsequent blog entries will also reference examples from this application.

In the (near) future, I hope to write about architecture and development on Windows Azure from “real” customer projects.
